Call Me King, A young African American creative born in Laurinburg, NC and grew up between the cities of Raeford and Fayetteville, NC, has been writing since 2002. King started off writing poetry, innocently enough, about his feelings towards females he liked in school. He soon found comfort in his writing and turned to it as a way to express all of his emotions and views on multiple subjects such as racism and inequality, male mental and emotional health, his love for black women, and more. He soon after, started writing short story erotica. King is a Writer, performer, activist, father, and U.S. Air Force enlisted member. King hopes that his work will help change the narrative of black men and help close the gap in social prejudice and injustice….as well as entertain you. He takes on the pseudonym “Call Me King” as he looks to his father as such and believes that we are all Kings and thus should be called one.
